Makin' New Horizons is making a meaningful impact since inception.

 

With the help of members and volunteers in the Kemah community, our work is driven by a continuous passion and dedication to making a real difference in the lives of others.

 

We are a nonprofit helping people getting a second chance in life.  With counseling and support with getting back on their feet such as transportation and housing, we try to help them develop a trade they can use to provide a steady job. 

Infact, many of the people we work with are skilled crafts people.  They just need a little help and guidance to get them back to being contributing citizens.

To assist in this endeavor, we solicit construction projects for a modest fee to provide funds, experience and self esteem for the people we work with.  A list of services is listed on our Services page.  We also accept donations as your heart is willing.  Everything helps.
